SECRET OF COUNTRYSIDE

Ice, its secrets, transformations and ability to change countryside, inspired me to abstract photographs, which reflected the countryside and my feelings inside of me. Photographs were created in Finland.

THAW

The cycle of prints was created by a specific procedure. At the beginning white styrofoam panels, which looked like packed snow, were lying in front of me. They started to thaw and disappear step by step by shaping it with hot air. Hidden shapes started to appear, some of them from the depths , some of them from the top of  unconsciousness.  Photographs were created by transillumination of prepared styrofoam pieces.
